Its data policy, set out in full on the methodology page, divides every figure into three states: sourced from a named document, MotoSutra's editorial assessment, or not available. In Where a figure is not sourced to a named, dated document, it is an unverified MotoSutra catalogue estimate — not an official price or specification. Scores and verdicts are MotoSutra editorial ratings. Always confirm current numbers with the manufacturer and a dealer.

No warranty on prices, specifications or scores

Catalogue figures that do not name a source document on the page are unverified MotoSutra estimates. They are not verified against manufacturer data or dealer quotes, and they are not updated as the market moves. Star ratings, verdicts, pros/cons and comparison outcomes are single-editor opinions under the label MotoSutra editorial rating — they are not owner surveys, customer ratings or test results, and MotoSutra has not physically tested the vehicles it writes about. All content is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Do not make a purchase, insurance or finance decision from anything on this site; check the manufacturer and a dealer for live figures.

Editorial content and bylines

Articles are written and filed by the editor under the MotoSutra desk. They are commentary and research summaries, not professional advice, and no opinion expressed here is a substitute for an inspection or a test ride of your own.

Who publishes this site

MotoSutra is published by Rahul Singh (Mysore, Karnataka, India) — an individual editorial publication, not a registered company. Corrections, complaints and any other publisher correspondence go to the desk address on the contact page.

Third-party names and marks

Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Hyundai and every other marque, model name and model badge listed in the catalogue are the property of their respective owners. They appear here descriptively — to identify which vehicle a listing or story refers to — and imply no affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement by or of any manufacturer.

How you may use the site

• Browse, read and link freely; the RSS feed is public.
• Do not republish unverified catalogue estimates as real market information — check the named notice on the page you are quoting, or ask via the contact page first.
• There are no APIs, scrapable services or guaranteed availability: pages are static files and may change or disappear between deploys without notice.

Links out, and data handling

Where the site links to third parties (font providers, share buttons on article pages), it does not control what those parties record once you click. What this site itself does with visitors — which is to say, nothing that is stored — is set out in the privacy notice.

Corrections

Errors are fixed on the page and logged per the corrections policy. The contact page lists the only channel: email the desk.
